In 2010, G. Dep confessed to a cold case murder that he committed in 1993. He was convicted of second-degree murder in 2011, and was sentenced to 15-years to life in prison. In 2003, Big Lurch was sentenced to life in prison for murder and aggravated mayhem associated with the 2002 death of Tynisha Ysais. The victim's chest was torn open, and bite marks were found on her body. Big Lurch is serving time at the California State Prison, Sacramento.

Rapper Cassidy was charged with murder, attempted murder, reckless endangerment, aggravated assault, conspiracy, and weapons possession for an incident where he and two other men fired guns at three unarmed men in 2005. He was convicted of involuntary manslaughter and sentenced to 11 to 23 months in prison.
Cool C
In 1996, Cool C was involved in a bank robbery which resulted in the death of a police officer. He was convicted of first degree murder and sentenced to the death penalty. He has been granted multiple stays of execution, the latest of which prevented his death by lethal injection on Jan. 8, 2015.
C-Murder
Rapper C-Murder - brother of Percy "Master P" Miller, uncle of Lil' Romeo, and cousin of producer Mo B. Dick - is currently serving a life sentence for murder. He was convicted of second degree murder following the 2002 beating and shooting of a 16 year-old fan, Steve Thomas, at a Louisiana nightclub.

Dep had actually turned himself in several times before, but officers had never believed his story because he was always under the influence of drugs or alcohol. He was sentenced to 15-years to life in prison.
Rosco P. Coldchain
Rosco P. Coldchain was arrested in conjunction with a double murder back in 2008. His album, Almost Famous, was released in 2012, 3 years into his prison sentence.
Chi-Ali
Chi-Ali was charged with first-degree manslaughter for the 2000 shooting death of Sean Raymond, his girlfriend's brother. He served 12 years at Sing Sing Correctional Facility, and has since been released.
X-Raided
X-Raided is best known as a "granny murderer." He and his fellow gang members broke into the house of an elderly woman named Patricia Harris in 1991 and killed her. He is serving a 31-years to life sentence.
Big Lurch
